"RED" is a Collaborative art exhibition between Miyabi and Lola that delves into the theme of RED, a symbol and color of passion, drive, and the essence of the two's identities.
This powerful color serves as the focal point for exploring the raw intensity and emotions that fuel the creative process and what it means to both artists.

FOREWORDS FROM ARTISTS
LOLA NICOLETTI
"My work is an exploration of color, form, and the limitless possibilities of reinterpreting the elements of the world we are so used to seeing through a singular lens. Using acrylic paint and oil pastel on canvas, I embrace the vibrancy of primary colors— especially red and yellow-to create bold, abstract compositions. The interplay of these vivid hues, combined with dynamic lines and unconventional shapes, reflects my fascination with the natural contours of faces, animals, and objects, and the many ways they can be interpreted.
I approach each piece with a sense of playfulness, aiming to evoke both joy and curiosity in the viewer. Through my art, I challenge the traditional perceptions of everyday objects, particularly the human face, encouraging a more abstract and colorful view of the world. My love for bright, contrasting colors is at the core of my creative process, as I experiment with different combinations to produce eye-catching, thought-provoking results.
Ultimately, my goal is to invite viewers into a world where colors and forms dance together, sparking a reflection on how they see the familiar and leaving them with a renewed sense of wonder for the vibrant possibilities around them."

MIYABI
"The wonders and mysticism of life entices me, and this enticement runs deep into my identity as an artist. Art has always been my way of expression and communication, when words cannot translate the emotion or thoughts, I turn to art. Within my art, I bring to life my beliefs, the beauty within mundanity, appreciation for the old, nature, and personal experiences.
I sincerely hope for the viewers to feel my art and see the world that I am blessed to experience. As Hayao Miyazaki had once said, "When someone creates something with all their heart, then that creation is given a soul." Upon the sight of my art, I hope to get to know me and the souls of my art a little better.
Just as I've been fortunate to discover my RED, I hope you have found-or will find-your RED as well."
